The lovebirds tied the knot in a Konkani ceremony on Wednesday which stretched for over five hours. But we still haven't got a glimpse of the attractive bride. That's enough to get all of us excited. And as per the Sindhi customs, Ranveer's friends too teared his shirt.

Security was extraordinarily tight as small powerboats manned by beefy security guards sailed round and round the smaller boat filled with journalists in order to unsettle and potentially tip them over. The wedding guests were seen arriving in sarees to Villa del Balbianello as they walked towards the villa's patio.

As per the reports, dulhe raja Ranveer with all the Band Baaja Baaraat entered the venue for his Sindhi wedding with Deepika in a seaplane.

The couple made a decision to hold their wedding on the same date the special film was released, back in 2013. Guests reportedly had to put yellow stickers on the camera of their phones to avoid clicking pictures. The power couple was clad head-to-toe in Sabyasachi. It was followed by the Mehendi and sangeet, which saw performances from the likes of Shubha Mudgal and Harshdeep Kaur.

Much to the dismay of the gathered handful of journalists waiting to catch a glimpse of the couple however, their entourage proceeded to cover up the couple in a number of black umbrellas as they boarded and settled into the boat. And yes, she obliged! The couple took the wedding vows and did their pheras as per traditional Sindhi ceremony. Filmmaker Karan Johar was the first celebrity to congratulate the newlyweds. Our heartiest congratulations to this lovely couple!

Congratulations, Ranveer Singh with Deepika Padukone. "Here's to a lifetime of love and joy!" he wrote on Wednesday. Several fan pages have shared it on Instagram.

Catchy beats of "London Thumakda" and "Dama Dum Mast Kalandar" reverberated around the idyllic surrounds of Lake Como on Tuesday when the couple held their Mehndi Sangeets. The resort, completely booked for the wedding, was also decked up by the florists. It will reopen next year in March.

The average cost of a room at the property is 400 euros (around Rs 33,000).

Today's ceremony will take place in the lower terrace of the Villa del Balbianello in northern Italy, the same place where the couple was announced man and wife yesterday.

Reports from various media houses have been doing rounds.

A public announcement, two weddings and a long tease later, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh released the first pictures as a married couple on Thursday. It is surfacing on the internet that Deepika Padukone entered the Mandap in the most dreamy way. They will then return to Mumbai to host a bash for their industry friends at the Grand Hyatt on November 28. They met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Ram Leela" in November 2012.
