The report by the "True Lies" actor was filed at around 10 a.m. PT this morning, just over 12 hours after the incident occurred.

Arnold accused Burnett on Twitter of going "apes-t" and "choked me at this huge Emmy party".

Burnett's wife, Roma Downey says Arnold "tried to ambush" her and Mark. Downey in her tweet wrote, "Is your TV show worth it Tom?".

"Bullsh*t. You lie your insane husband attacked me you psycho", he tweeted. Police haven't yet responded to a request for comment, according to The Hollywood Reporter, but Arnold's lawyer alleged that Burnett "attacked" his client. "He's okay. We gotta protect this brutal angel", he wrote. "I love Mark Burnett, by the way, [Trump's] buddy who sits at the prayer breakfast with him, that created this guy, this fake, that people in Iowa - where I'm from - think is this genius businessman from TV", Arnold said. The pair reportedly settled down before entering the venue.

Little else is known about the scuffle, but some fans think that it could have been a publicity stunt for The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, which premieres Tuesday on Viceland.

Some have speculated the fight was a publicity stunt. Arnold claimed the former "Apprentice" producer choked him at a party on Sunday, September 16. "[Burnett] called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a awful and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa", Trump tweeted last month.

In an interview with Salon published shortly before the Evening Before party began, Arnold told writer Melanie McFarland that he planned to confront Burnett at the Emmy Awards ceremony, which will be held Monday night at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Burnett has said he has no access to the tapes because they're owned by MGM. "I don't have that word in my vocabulary, and never have".

Mr. Arnold predictably had a different take of the encounter, also taking to Twitter to offer his account. We asked Arnold if he expect's Fogel to speak out on the incident.
