Canadian police: At least 4 killed in shooting in New Brunswick

The exact circumstances of the shooting remain unclear.

Travis Hrubeniuk, 27, said his fiancee had just left for work around 7:45 when he began hearing a steady stream of sirens.

At that point, police said, the two police officers were shot.

Speaking to Global News, another resident, Dave MacCoubrey, said that he could have heard as many as 17 shots coming about 30 feet from his bed.

Police have not released the names of the two Fredericton officers and two other victims who were killed.

A resident at the apartment complex in Canada where four people were killed in a shooting on Friday says that he saw the incident unfold.
