The white colorway appears to keep the contrasting-colored power button. However, Google is also known to unveil several accessories for the Pixel devices alongside and we could be looking at a very important one for this year.

While these images don't provide us with any new details about the Pixel 3 XL, they do give us further visual confirmation of the handset's design.

The leaker, dr.guru, said they couldn't boot the phone because it had been remotely wiped by Google; however, the fastboot screen that came up indicated the device came with 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage - similar to what's offered in the current-gen Pixel 2 XL.

More importantly, though: let's talk about the notch. You can just about make out a front facing camera and another pinhole lens/flash/sensor - one either side of the ear-position speaker.

A prototype of Google's Pixel 3 XL has made its way into the wild, corroborating numerous rumours we've heard so far. A "Pixel Stand" peripheral has also been leaked, which may serve as a wireless charging dock. Though not confirmed, it is believed that the third-generation Pixel phones will sport a wireless charging option.

The Pixel 3 XL will have a notch on the display and only one rear camera.

Last year's Google Pixel 2 XL was widely praised for its photographic prowess.

Moving on to the tech-specs, we can definitely expect the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 to be on board and will probably be running on the latest Android 9.0 P as per tradition according to the timetable. The addition of code to the Google app may hint at new devices, but plans within organizations can change at any moment and the device might never see the light of day.
