He also said it's important to take time for yourself; staying active, eating well and setting aside time to do what you like to do can help with suicidal thoughts.

"Be very bold with them".

- Ask them if they are thinking about killing themselves. Do you have a plan to die?

"If you're anxious about somebody you know ask open and clearly", Marx said. It may feel awkward. "There are clear steps anyone, anywhere can take to help someone at risk". Remember, you are never alone.

Abby Litovski is over the center's crisis and suicide line program and says since news of the suicides came out, they have certainly gotten an increase in calls this week.
