Mario Tennis Aces smashes onto Nintendo Switch on June 22. The goal of the online tournament is to get players from across Japan to try out its tennis battles that come with new aimed shots and acceleration features. It's, of course, up to Mario to bail out his brother and complete several tennis-related challenges. Nintendo won't say who those characters are yet, but we have a pretty good idea. In Swing Mode, players can use their Joy-Con controllers like a tennis racket, swinging them to initiate the tennis swings in the game.
Are you excited about Mario Tennis Aces? For a limited time, players can try out online tournament matches in the game before it launches. As you advance through the tournament stages you'll earn points based on your performance, allowing you to unlock another five additional characters to play with.
Or if you're like me and don't wanna get whupped by some random digital "Roger Federer" or "Serena Williams" you can play it safe against a computer controlled opponent in offline singles play.
