Not only did it expertly introduce a lesser-known hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it did so with a ton of heart and fun.

The trailer begins with a flashback of the events that saw Scott Lang helping out Captain America (Chris Evans) and his faction during the film "Captain America: Civil War".

Reed is back behind the camera with Ant-Man and the Wasp, and this time out Scott Lang (Rudd) is trying his best to balance his duties as a crime fighter and family man. Now, it looks like that brief tease will officially play a big role in the upcoming "Ant-Man and The Wasp" film, where the latter will have a significant presence alongside Paul Rudd's character, Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man. She responds, "I guess we'll never know, but [if I had been there], you'd have never been caught".

Ant-Man and The Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña and Academy Award victor Michael Douglas, who all return to the roles they originated in the 2015 box office hit Ant-Man.

Along with the Pez dispenser of doom at the end of the trailer, this is one of the coolest things in the teaser.

This Reddit thread breaks down the footage of the unusual vessel that will apparently carry Team Ant-Man into the Quantum Realm, with one important caveat: we can not yet confirm that there will be a Quantum Realm sequence, because this footage is not actually of a sub-atomic world. Kind of obvious when you consider his hero name, but in the last movie, Scott's flying ant pal "Antony" was killed (rip).

The Wasp's suit has so many more weapons at its disposal like wings and blasters. Screenshots from the Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer offer a closer look at Ghost's unique costume and capabilities, as do these newly-released photos from the film's set.
