The 'Ocean's 8' Trailer Is Extremely Fashion

Easily the most appealing of the lot was Ocean's 8, a new addition to Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's franchise of popular heist films.

The trailer opens during Debbie's parole hearing, during which she speaks freely about how whatever led to her imprisonment was a mistake that she looked forward to rectifying. Her first stop is to assemble the ideal crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson). Sandra Bullock alone is a national treasure and her playing Danny Ocean's estranged sister was a stroke of genius on casting director Debra Zane's part. The heist is to steal Anne Hathaway's necklace at the Met Gala, a necklace which is valued at $150 million.

Still, it's a bit of a bummer that Danny Ocean's dead, especially with the excellent rapport George Clooney and Bullock had in Gravity. Though the former criminal pledges to live a "simple life" life after being released from prison, it is clear that Debbie has other plans.

Rihanna becomes Nine Ball in the first trailer for Ocean's 8. Hollywood owes it to its audiences to allow us to see the world from a different perspective - after all, women are 50% of the population and we've been waiting so long to see our stories be told on the big screen. "We love them. But this one heist needs women". "Because it's what I'm good at", Ocean responds.

Ocean's 8, to be released on June 8, is showcasing major star power, which includes Bullock, Hathaway, Olivia Munn, Dakota Fanning, Katie Holmes, Rihanna, James Corden, Adriana Lima, Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett and more.
