Salman Khan, who headlines the cast of Race 3, himself confirmed the news on his social media page.
Asked if he is playing father to Salman in the franchise's third project, he said: "I don't have a problem with it".
The "Dil Dhadakne Do" star took to Twitter and wrote, "It's nearly time for curtain call!"
"Inke Aane se "Race 3" ka cast aur ho gaya jhakaas Anil Kapoor, Ramesh Taurani".

Anil has just finished shooting his portions for "Fanne Khan", which also features his "Taal" co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Apart from Salman the film also stars Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Salem and Freddy Daruwala. Anil Kapoor is the only actor to have starred in all three installments of the franchise. Salman and Anil had worked together in movies, including "Deewana Mastana", "Biwi No. 1", "No Entry", "Salaam-E-Ishq" and "Yuvvraaj". Remo even announced that Sapna Choudhary will do a song for his movie in near future.
While Salman Khan has already kept the hearts of his fans racing when he started shooting for the upcoming film Race 3.
And now another senior actor has made its way to the cast of Race 3.
Fanne Khan is all set to release on Eid 2018.
