CFO Brian Olsavsky said that the company plans to add locations in California, Washington, D.C., and Austin, Texas.

Today, Nov. 2, the grocer is hosting a National Hiring Day at all of its USA stores with a goal of hiring 6,000 new Team Members, on the spot!

All you have to do is head to your local store Thursday for an on-the-spot interview. Full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs will be available.

Potential applicants are advised to apply online before heading to the store to save time, and also bring a copy of their resume to the interview.
