The Week 9 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Jacksonville Jaguars featured a premier wide receiver-cornerback matchup featuring A.J.

Green put the Ramsey in a chokehold and tossed him before unwisely throwing punches at the Jaguars defender's helmeted head. Both players were ejected after an altercation shortly before halftime of Sunday's game. In the days leading up to the game Ramsey said that he was looking forward to going up against a perennial pro Bowler in Green. Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack was the first to reach the players and tried to pull Green off Ramsey. As the Bengals came off the field, they were still barking at the Jaguars sideline as boos rained down.

The Jaguars' defense held Cincinnati to 148 yards and eight first downs, and Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles had one of his best games of the season - and of his career - completing 24 of 38 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. "I am here to play football". It speaks volumes when former TNA Tag Team Champion and Bengals corner and kick returner Adam "Pacman" Jones sees a fight and is like "nah, I'll sit this one out". "No need. I need all the energy I can to go out and make plays".

Fournette missed the team's last game at Indianapolis with a sprained right ankle.
