Apple held its annual September unveiling event on Tuesday in their brand-new Steve Jobs Theater within the Apple Park at Cupertino, California.

However, the company is anticipated to roll out three versions of its new digital media player, available at different price points. It comes with Super Retina display and 5.8 inch screen having screen resolution of 2436*1125 and 458ppi.

It's also going to support a variety of streaming content, including live sports, the company says. Other than the phones there might be some of you who would be interested in the Apple Watch as well.

The new generation of Apple TV, no-so-creatively named "Apple TV 4K", is getting a major upgrade as well.

It meant far more accurate distance, speed and route information during rides, as well as the ability to follow mapped navigation straight from your wrist - and without the need to bring your iPhone along for the ride (even if it is a shiny new iPhone 8 or iPhone X). In that "tiny space", as Apple calls it, Apple packed what looks like a Kinect for phones that powers the TrueDepth camera's Face ID functionality.

All these new iPhones all have all-glass bodyworks which makes wireless charging possible. The Face data on this device is protected by secure enclave on A11 bionic chip.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus can be pre-ordered sooner on Friday this week and will be released on September 22.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be available in 32GB, 256GB and 512GB with price starting from $699 for iPhone 8 and $799 for iPhone 8 Plus respectively.

The new Apple Watch Series 3, which has stock traders bearish on other watchmakers like Swatch. The new device will be available in two colours - Silver and Grey. The new operating system includes an automatically switching dark and night mode, and support for AirPlay 2 and AirPods (so you can watch TV without disturbing the whole house).

With the LTE chip, Apple Watch Series 3 users can make calls, send a message through Siri's help, and stream music without an iPhone at hand.

It may not have a fancy name, but the eSIM that the Apple Watch 3 uses to spoof your phone number is definitely exciting.

The new Apple TV 4K will be powered by Apple's A10X Fusion processor.

Inside the new Apple Watch, there's a new dual-core processor, which Apple claims is 70 per cent faster than the CPU inside the Apple Watch 2, and which will enable Siri to talk back to wearers for the first time, too.

In an age of growing smart TV platforms, Apple has revamped its good old Apple TV box, with extensive modifications to the insides.
