The flasher draped in an Australian flag has turned out to be Ukranian media personality Vitalii Sediuk, ABC reports.

With Isaiah Firebrace coming in 9th place, and Portugal taking the Eurovision crown, it is possible Australia will be better remembered this year for the presence of its national flag on the back of a naked man.

The man circled last year's Eurovision victor, Jamala, jumping up on stage as she sang during the half time performance of the song contest. The singer had prepared her new music to share it with the Eurovision viewers but still, an intruder managed to bypass the security guards and get on the stage while Jamala was presenting to the world her new song.

After climbing on to the small stage in the middle of the audience, he danced around Jamala before standing in front of her and dropping his trousers.

The man is a self-proclaimed prankster who is known for ambushing celebrities on red carpets.

The surprise flasher came during a performance by Ukrainian singer Jamala, who entertained the crowds as votes were being tallied.

The ambassador to Ukraine, Bruce Edwards tweeted that it was a "timely reminder for any Australians in Kiev for Eurovision".
