Notre Dame will continue to play five football games each season against members of the Atlantic Coast Conference through 2037.
Several showdowns between the Tigers and Fighting Irish are in the future.
Syracuse won 38-12 in 2003, Notre Dame's last visit to Syracuse.
The Irish will play at Clemson on August 30, 2031, and at Virginia Tech on September 1, 2036, continuing the ACC tradition of playing on Labor Day Monday night.
Notre Dame is a full member of the ACC in all sports other than football.

The ACC had a 6-9 record against Notre Dame over the past three seasons. "As we look to the future, these games will continue to enhance the experience for our players, schools and fans".
Previously scheduled games include contests at home against Notre Dame (2018), in South Bend, Indiana (2019) and back in Blacksburg (2021).
UofL will welcome the Fighting Irish in 2030, 2033 and 2035, with the Cardinals returning to South Bend, Ind., for the 2032 season.
Remember that game this past November between the Irish and the Hokies in South Bend?
As you can see in the graphic above, the Irish host NC State and Wake Forest this year and will travel to BC, Miami and North Carolina.
With a 2-1 record, Clemson is one of just five current FBS schools with a winning series record over Notre Dame given a minimum of three games.
